Lead Singing

Backing Harmonies

I have taught guitar lessons at Gand Music & Sound in Northfield, IL since September, 2010. I love to teach budding guitarists the skills they need to stand apart from the crowd. My students are fantastic - many times I learn from them as much as they learn from me. It's an honor and a privilege to be able to teach the ins and outs of guitar playing.

Lead Guitar / Backing Vocals - The Kingfish

2003 - present

I've been a member of The Kingfish since it's inception in 2003. Since then, we've performed at bars and clubs throughout the midwest, as well as festivals, charity events, and weddings. As musical director for the band, I've been in charge of putting together set lists, arranging new songs, and general maintenance and upkeep of the band's continually growing catalog.

Co-owner / Co-founder - 3 Fish Entertainment, LLC

2010 - present

In 2010, I and the other founding members of The Kingfish decided to form a company to handle our business. Since then, we've grown into event coordination, running live sound and lights, DJ services, and other related services. The company continues to expand, and as we meet new challenges and obstacles, we always find ways to overcome them.

Bachelor of Music - Columbia College Chicago

2011 - 2014

In 2014, I completed my Bachelor of Music, (Contemporary, Urban, and Popular Music) at Columbia College Chicago. When I made the decision to return to school, I wanted to make sure the school and program was right for me. Columbia has been an incredible experience. I've learned more about music and my instrument in the past few years than I ever believed I could.

Bachelor of Music - Lawrence University

1996 - 1999

I studied music and saxophone performance at Lawrence University. Although I learned much, the hardest lesson was that I wasn't in the right school at the right time in my life. However, I made many lasting relationships there, and it ultimately led me to meeting my amazing wife. So, even though I didn't complete my degree, I still received the highest honor possible.
